Synopsis:
Nool is a young and joyful Black Macaque living at a zoo in Israel at the height of an ongoing military conflict. She’s curious about the world outside her cage and easily charmed by anything she sees.
One night, mesmerized by the wondrous glow of missiles painting the night sky, the curious monkey slips out of her cage for a better view. Suddenly a missile charges down toward her and in one fateful moment her world changes forever.

When her time has come, Tala, an elderly Native American woman, goes to the spiritual graveyard of her tribe. There, her spirit animal reveals herself before her and guides her to the afterlife together.

A personal project in memory of my father
סרט שנעשה במסגרת קורס "יומן", כתגובה לאמירה של אבי לפני מותו. הסרט נוצר כרצף תודעתי של זכרונות כהבזקים אסוציאטיביים שמופיעים בראשי ורוקמים בתמצות את סיפורו של אבי בחיי, והנוכחות שלו שמלווה אותי עד היום. בעזרת אנימציה אני מחייה את אבי לחמש דקות.
The film was made for a "Journal" course at the academy. It was inspired by a something my father said on his death bed which subconsciously influenced my choice of becoming an animator when I grew up. The film portrays the essence of early memories after many years of replaying them in my mind, they became fragments- flickers of instances and emotions in the darkness of the past- that feel so alive in my head , bringing my father back to life just for 5 minutes on the screen.
